Offered for sale is this wonderful son of our mare Broadax John's Lizzy and is by Acorn Ridge Bodacious. His dam was almost lost to the Morgan world when she was not registered as a foal. After a lot of research and time we learned that she is the daughter of the wonderful Lipptitt stallion Royalton Herbie and out of a Brunk/Western mare named Fielday Susette. When I first saw Liz I knew that I had something special. She has been my riding and driving mare for a while and I decided that I wanted to get a foal from her. The stallion was chosen on the merit of his looks (a stunning black), temperament (calm and cool even when the mare is in heat) and conformation. He is the perfect complement to Liz as she is 14 hands and very stocky, and he is about 15.1 hands and while having plenty of substance lends a bit of refinement. The resulting colt is this guy who has a wonderful neck set high on the withers, a beautiful head, large dark eyes that melt you, a short back that is well coupled into the rest of his body and a way of going that says that this guy has a lot going for him. For sale only because he is a gelding, we have 3 mares now, and only so much stall space. Asking $1700-price will go up as we start his training. If you are looking for a sturdy prospect as a driving/riding horse or pony club mount he is worth your SERIOUS consideration!!!
